About the business and the role

Job tasks and responsibilities

As a senior manager your role will involve managing your own client base and dealing directly with clients. You will be responsible for reviewing financial statements and tax returns (and handling the billing process).  You must have a good understanding of the different types of business structures and be able to advise clients on income tax and GST matters. 

Your role will also include the following:

  • Tax consulting 
  • Tax/Accounting compliance and advisory
  • Reviewing investment reports and Foreign Investment Fund calculations.
  • Client onboarding
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Business valuations
  • Due diligence
  • Xero advisory
  • Business coaching
  • Reviewing the work of team members

 

Skills and experience

The preferred candidate will be a Chartered Accountant and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You must have experience in preparing and reviewing accounts and dealing with taxation and commercial issues that commonly apply to SME and larger privately owned businesses.
