Job tasks and responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant your role will involve a variety of BAS skills including preparing financial statements for a variety of clients and managing key client accounts, Xero advisory, cashflow reporting and reviewing team members work.
A varied role, drawing upon your technical experience in which you will be encouraged to do the appropriate research on complex issues, xero apps, payroll and advisory tools, thus further developing your technical skills.
Skills and experience
The applicant must have a minimum of 3 years New Zealand BAS/Audit experience ideally in a first or second tier firm.
You will need to be experienced in preparing and reviewing accounts and dealing with taxation and commercial issues that commonly apply to SME and larger privately owned businesses.
A high proficiency with Xero is a must. The applicant must also have knowledge working with payroll issues, MYOB and Xero add-ons.
